Andre R. Campbell, MD, FACS, FACP, FCCM, MAMSE, FCBC is Professor of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco and a nationally respected leader in trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and surgical education.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from UCSF School of Medicine.

He completed residency and fellowship training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, including training in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care.

For over three decades, Dr. Campbell has served as an attending trauma surgeon and surgical critical care physician at San Francisco General Hospital while holding multiple academic leadership positions at UCSF.

He has:

Delivered hundreds of invited lectures nationally and internationally.

Served in leadership positions within the American College of Surgeons and other major surgical organizations
